Property on the Costa Blanca for sale

The Costa Blanca (White Coast) runs along the eastern coast of Spain, to the north is the Costa del Azahar and to the south the Costa Calida. It has more than 100 kilometres of beautiful sandy beaches with many rocky coves and most have been awarded the European Blue Flag, meaning cleanliness and safe bathing.

The Costa Blanca is a beautiful area with mountains along most of the coastline. The A7 motorway goes from north to south along the coast it with the older but free N-332 running parallel. There are many companies flying from the UK into Alicante airport and further north Valencia airport is also a main entry point. Flight time is about 2 hours and there are several low-cost airlines based here.

Here there is something for everyone from small rural villages to busy cosmopolitan tourist resorts. Benidorm is popular and you can find some reasonable apartments close to the beach for around 120,000 euros. If you fancy a more traditional villa you may have to move further inland to find a bargain, although there are many fincas at a reasonable price which need restoration.

The Costa Blanca isn't really somewhere you would go to see monuments, although yopu can find many, it's beauty lies in the blue Mediterranean waters and lovely sandy beaches.
